Lag near the KSC

Straightforward question: Is it normal to have reduced Frames per second while near the KSC.

At first I thought it was the amount of debris, but when I started a fresh save it still had low FPS.

I figured the new buildings are more detailed and that's the reason.

But I don't see anyone having this problem.

My computer is quite good, I don't understand why it lags.

If graphics are the problem I don't think a GTX560 should have that much problem.

If processing power is, I don't know why an i7 2600 shouldn't handle either way.

Before this update it ran fine.

I ask this question because this problem might be just me, as I don't see people having this issue.

I said in the thread that I still had low framerate on a fresh save game. A new game...

Turn your view towards the sky when launching. That increases my framerate.

Even if they don't seem like it, the new buildings actually have three times less polys than the old one, so if they should do anything compared to 0.20, it's surely not slow you down. Your low framerate could simply be caused by the proximity to the ocean, as someone said, try looking up, it should help you.

And yes, I know that looking up helps, that wasn't my concern.

I have similar problem to yours. I'm using significantly worst laptop than your pc, but KSP run fine. As I said my problem is somewhere in KSC. I don't know what can cause lags, but KSP worked better before 0.21.

My laptop configuration:

processor i3-2350M

GPU Nvidia geforce 610M

8gb ram

That's enough for playing everywhere in universe but not in KSC.
