Realistic size mod?

I'm wondering if anyone has a mod which makes all the planets and moons realistic sizes. I need one that only scales up the geometry and doesn't create more, because if it re-rendered everything to be normal size my computer would explode.

note: this is not a request. I now the stock game isn't planning on adding this.

There's no such mod right now, there's not even a mod to add new planets, although someone almost did it. Really that would be the first step before we consider having realistic sized planets. But even then, you'd have a really hard time playing without resizing every part to have sane amounts of delta V, and bigger parts = more wobble. Think NovaPunch 5m. Would not recommend.

To be fair chris, its more about tweaking the engines to have sane amounts of dV, and tweaking the fuel tanks to carry reasonable amounts of fuel compared to their dry mass. The parts don't need to be any bigger, they just need to be more realistically configured. The biggest challenge imo is better drag modelling... With planets being so much bigger, and aerobraking having so much more atmosphere available to it, the flaws in the drag model will become much more apparent. I do hope that someday somebody does this so that we can get an idea of what the scale of spaceflight is really like.

Can't imagine you could resize the textures. Might look ugly from orbit.

You'd only be able to use said mod in linux on the 64 bit client, and even then I don't know if Unity uses 64bit floats for vectors so you may still have problems from the sheer size of the numbers you'd be dealing with.
