Solar Synchronous Orbit?

While I was updating my ribbons in KSP Ribbon Generator, I noticed that Kerbol gets an "Overwatch" achievement, meaning that either a synchronous orbit has been achieved or that you have an extensive network of satellites overhead. Does this mean that one could place a ship or station into solar synchronous orbit? Do stars like suns have an axis of rotation? Both in real life and in game? If Kerbol does rotate, what altitude must one be at?

Everything that rotates has an axis of rotation. And in space EVERYTHING rotates!

Well, our Sun technically doesn't have a proper rotational period because different latitudes have different rotational periods. Stars are balls of gas and plasma. The equator is the fastest rotating part, so I guess we could take that value for the calculations?...

Rotational speed of our (real) Sun is a bit matter of discussion as its different parts rotate at different speeds.

There is a Kerbol way to answer this question. Just land on Kerbol and figure out how fast the surface is moving.

There is no kraken there. The game will kill you at 1000m above the surface but the physics are fine.

Actually, Below 500 meters the heat barrier is gone, You can land. I managed to get a rover down there.
