How to get fallen astronaut back on his legs???

Hello!

I managed to land on the Mun and got a stupid problem: my atronaut stumbled over a landing strut and fell down.

And it does not seem to react to any control anymore.

What could I do?

It is really a pain to see him lying helpless on the regolit near the perfectly good ship.

This probably should be in some FAQ.

WASD - try to move him. If that doesn't work, hit the spacebar to make him jump. If that doesn't work, get completely out of KSP, get back in and try WASD/spacebar again. If that doesn't work...well, then it's time to try SCE to AUX......

hit R to activate rockets, then move a bit and he will right himself. remove rockets and he stands.

Just be SURE that the Kerbal ain't under the rocket when he stands up, or he'll toss it high into the sky. There is no force more powerful than a Kerbal standing up. Seriously.

It's that damn floating and it happens at faulty ladders. Kerbals enter a state of freefall and you can't do anything except restarting the game. That helps in certain cases.

If your ship had that unmanned probe part, you could lift it and kick the Kerbal with the legs...
