Make Kerbin have some more Earth-Like Features

I know Kerbin is supposed to greatly resemble Kerbin in many ways. One of the things I really wanted was the tilt of Earth. The tilt of earth gives it alot of crazy features. The seasons, and also the 6 months of day and night up in the poles. Another thing I wanted was the nothern lights, or known by some the Aurora borealis. These are those light shows caused by the magnetic poles. If that was in Kerbal Space Program, that would be pretty crazy.

Both are commonly suggested, and I believe both are on the Do Not Suggest list. Axial tilt definitely is.

I think Kerbin isn't going to have tilt to make it easy for new players to get a perfect orbit. But I think other planets should. Do any? Hey, idea. Maybe when Tycoon sauce is saucy, have difficulties, with easy making Kerbin and the Mun as 'perfect' as they are, and harder difficulty settings make 'em more erratic.

As BenHR said, the lack of axial tilt is due to difficulty scaling. Your first planet has no tilt and your first moon is in an equatorial orbit. Beyond that, the difficulty can be scaled up. I'd like to see an axial tilt on the other planets or moons beyond Kerbin.

Also, Kerbin isn't earth. Therefore it may or may not have all of the Earth-like traits you suggested in psuedo-reality.

The trouble with introducing proper seasons to Kerbin is that you need to tilt the planet, like you said. Right now its quite easy to get into e a nice straight stable horizontal orbit, in line with a lot of the other cellestial bodies like the Mun and some other planets. But if you tilt the planet, the equator moves to a position where that becomes a lot harder to do this.

In fact if you want to get into an perfectly horizontal orbit around Earth (considering horizontal as the point where the suns rays hit the earth at 90 dagrees on the equator), there are only a couple of days a year where this is pobbile, in the spriing and in autumm.

And I think that would sort of scare away a lot of people, this is still a game not a simulator and it shouldn't be to complex in my opinion.
