Just put the probes on the launcher in orbit & just /duh'd realized that I could have put a parachute on one...

Why is laythe so hard too get to! One time I was sending probe there, during the deorbit burn Jool got in the way... and cut the power... It spun out of control with the engine still running and crashed.

Could be worse you could have forgot to put an probe on it.

However dV cost of doing an powered landing is pretty much as on Kerbin.

Jool create a lot of eclipses, and the sunshine is weaker so best have plenty of battery or rtg.

My main problem with Laythe is that its mostly water, the parts without water is mostly very hilly so you has to do accurate landings, even mechjeb landing autopilot tend to miss with kilometers.

My main problems with Laythe.

A) Getting to Jool and having enough fuel to get to/from laythe.

Orbital ping-pong with Jool and co.

C) Landing on an even surface.

D) Getting off.

So yeah...

Perhaps that aerobrake should have been... better thought out.
