First Successful Duna Return!

At long last, I scored my 1st interplanetary return chevron! I've stranded missions at Duna before, but finally was able to bring the crew back. I did it by sending two craft: an orbiter and a lander.

Wehrke Kerman was the lander pilot. Here he is on Duna:

After rendezvous with the orbiter, Wehrke joined the rest of the team in the orbiter and headed home:

After catching a nice deceleration from Mun, the crew settled into a 90k orbit. I sent an SSTO up to the orbiter and brought the new hero Wehrke back to Kerbin:

great stuff. big achievement there! i've been mechjebbing around stranding Kermen around the system but not successfully manually landed anywhere outside the Kerbin moons yet myself.
