That's just sloppy piloting, toes or no toes Seriously though, that was pretty cool. Makes me think back to how big a deal it was to land on the Mun for the first time, and how trivial it seems to do so now. Toss back a couple.3. ???4. Profit!BTW, landing on Minmus is just as easy, actually. You spend about 60 more Dv to get there, but about 100 less Dv between insertion and landing. And landing on the launch platform. Without the chute. That's just extra weight, which you really don't want to carry with you when using ion engines only.
