The LF-20 Sparrow is a short range point-defense aircraft armed with two Devastator Railguns for quick, effective defense of any strategic objective your government or corporation might have. A light, maneuverable fighter, it can quickly engage and destroy incoming enemy hardware leaving you and your headquarters safe. We\'ve even taken the liberty of adding landing skids as a complimentary feature.

We weren\'t lying. This test pilot landed mostly successfully, with only the loss of the main engine and a corresponding pay reduction. He\'s more fortunate than the last one, who lost the entire back half of the aircraft and was immediately sacked.

The PF-12 Lancer is a mid-range fighter, armed with one in-line Devastator railgun and two underslung Wasp air to air missiles to engage and destroy targets from a slightly further distance. Its ingenious bent wing design allows for effective lift production and stability, while wingtip canards provide lift and maneuverability. Our corporate mercenaries test pilots successfully evaluated the dogfighting and ground-attack capabilities of the Lancer by destroying our chief competitor\'s fleet a remote controlled fleet of target drones over a few hundred kilometers.

The railgun is mounted along the dorsal side of the aircraft for stability purposes and to facilitate the underslung missiles.

Now that that\'s been cleared up, I was thinking this would be a 'functioning' Aerospace corporation. So, interacting with the R.R.D.K.Q.C. and contracting for the Royal Kerbal Military or something like that.

Hmm, with lack of frontal horizontal flaps yet with low max speed, I see that it can still keep itself up. How does it glide efficiently and/or effectively? More specs on that please? just curious.

Which craft? The Sparrow glides only as a landing procedure, since its mission is on an extremely short timescale.

The Lancer glides relatively easily, since the wing code allows for vertically placed wings to generate lift (I think. If not, then it\'s generating enough already). I\'ll put the .craft files up in some time so people can start playing around with these.

The second one. I mean, the shuttles we know today clearly use a universal more or less similiar design. You can glid perfectly fine in KSP, but to have the same speeds as one in real life and land still proves problems (We need real landing gear!)

Wheels would be nice. Actual ones. I think I\'m going to try and put some landing skids on the wings, maybe that\'ll do it.

What actually works is stacked skids, the ones from C7. Try it, you will thank me later!
