Hey guys! Well, I just think it would be neat if KSP tracked overall statistics such as:

Largest (heaviest) ship on launch pad

Most mass into stable orbit above Kerbin

Greatest Gs felt by ships

And so on. This idea is based on a thread about what was the heaviest ship you ever got into orbit. I'm sure it's possible and I wouldn't hope for it until maybe sometime near or even after release, but I think it would be pretty cool. :)

Bonus suggestion! Commander stripes on Kerbals. Haha, well this has probably been suggested before.

At the moment, KSP already tracks achievements such as first flight, first craft to orbit, first EVA etc, but currently only stores it in the persistence file rather than displaying this info in-game.

I'm certain the devs have already devised an even greater range of achievements already, or have at least planned to do so.

Yep, that's actually the biggest part of the work put into .20, the progress tracking system. If you look at your peristence file you will see a lot of stats stored there, that's it. It's kinda sad that .20 is so underevaluated, this thing is one of the biggest piece of work implemented to the game, we're just not able to appreciate it yet by lack of career.
