Kerbin Observer, an orbitor and a lil more

I made this today and decided to share.

I think this is a nice first step to a space station, it is small enough to be launched in one chunk, has a relatively low part count and can hold a dozen kerbals. I wanted to also make it where you could enjoy the view from different angles without rotating the ship. I think it turned out quite well and It was mainly an exercise in using the techniques I had learned from the Open Source Construction Techniques for Craft Aesthetics thread. Any feed back would be welcomed

Nice use of R48-7S clipping. 4 = 80 thrust which means you got more power than an LV-909 for less weight and more efficiency. Nice! That come from open source techniques too?

Reminds me vaguely of my Guppy orbiters.

Also, nice work on the cupola clipping.

That looks nice. I'm not sure I agree with the nosecone, though. Perhaps a shield docking port would look better?

I first used a shielded docking port but it did not clip correctly onto the battery that is under it so I changed it.

I do not think I saw the 4 R48-7s cluster on that thread, but the way they are positioned I can attach a Decouple ring in the center and it works correctly. I Got the Idea the put the solar panels behind the craft from your thread, I think some of these orbiters look kind of goofy with solar panels hanging out everywhere lol.

Thank you both for your responses. I also Just noticed I will have to fire back up the game and undo something. I used a double R7 Rocket to get it up there in a hurry so it needs to come off before it will work on a stock game one second please.
