discovering planets\moons!!,that are not visible from the tracking station!

i was thinking about this suggestion in the future updates to make all planets not visible from the tracking station,until you do some research at the research menu to make the planet pop up in your tracking station!!,and after that you can do more research so you can discover what moons does the planet have !!,hope you liked it !

This is a planned feature. If they implement it like they planned, we will get a new building at KSC - observatory - and through it, it will be possible to discover new celestial bodies.

Considering humans have been tracking and predicting the movement of planets for hundreds of years before we developed space capable craft...or even knew what a planet was, that doesn't make sense from a scientific standpoint, and from a gameplay standpoint it sounds like a pointless minigame. It's Kerbal space program, not Keplar Space Program.

Logically, you should know the locations of the largest celestial bodies from the beginning of the game, but this'd definitely be a good feature for some smaller moons and asteroids. They could even be procedurally generated for each save. We'll see how the observatory will work.
