According to the BBC, the satellite ended up hitting someone\'s house;

The owner of the house, Andrei Krivoruchenko, said that he heard a huge noise and a crash as the satellite hit the roof.

'I climbed up onto the roof and could not work out what had happened. Then I saw a huge hole in the roof and the metal object,' he told Russian state television.

If an entire third stage, with propellant still inside hit someones house, there wouldn\'t be a hole in the roof. There would be no house left.

Perhaps some breakaway debris?

The satellite separated from the third stage and then smashed through the house, I think.
