Mission to the ice moon

Recommended Posts

Landed with my Eagle MK7 there (resembles in Stockparts the Moonbase Alpha Space:1999 Eagle)

Dropped four parts of a mobile Moonbase you need at least 2 together to have a drivable Vehicle

I finally got to Minimus a few days ago. It was only my second successful landing (after the Mun)

This is the embarrassingly over-sized lander/rocket. It was my first time using the LV-N engines and I didn't quite grasp how little fuel they need.

On arrival, Jeb and Bill got a nice view of Kerbin and the Mun.

Because there was so much spare fuel, I managed to come back on a polar orbit and dropped Bill and Jeb onto the Northern ice cap, which I hadn't visited yet.

I'd like to try and land on one of the high plateaus next time.
