I was just thinking the exact same thing. The extreme setup would be three screens. One for map, one for the main view and one for IVA.

Yes, map view and main view, but the third screen should be an instrument screen, to allow for bigger gauges and to free up the main view.

I could see KSP spanned in proper multi-screen. 5040x1050 main screen setup (3x 1680x1050 in nVidia Surround), plus my 1680x1050 monitoring window for Map View... I like the sound of that.

I might have to try this sometime. I use my 60" tv as my monitor and only sit about 4 feet away lol. So I have KSP set to the 14xx by 900 resolution right now and that gives me about a 40" window I think. Full screen landscape would be too much, but portrait view would let me use the full height of the screen while still having room on the side for other windows.
