Attaching Mk 2. fuselages side by side

Recommended Posts

hey all, I've just been trying to make an aircraft where the center is an Mk 2 fuselage, and then it has a wing connector attached either side, and another mk2 fuselage on either side of the connector, but they always seem to flip so that the fuselage part is attaching sideways to the connector, not flat and flush like the center one. Is there any method of orienting the part to allow it to attach in-line with the center fuselage?

Try playing around with the snap-to-degree setting.

Or for something experimental: Can you Alt-click-copy the center fuselage with just one connector attached to get a part you can then attach via 2x-symmetry?

Am I making any sense? Started working again after a three weeks vacation, so back to my sleep deprived state ... ;p

The radial attachment point for the Mk2 is on top, so it will attach at the top only. You could duplicate and modify a few values in the .cfg for the Mk2 to change it to a side-mount, but I don't remember the exact process for doing this.
