Designer225
From the New York Times Article "Republicans Back Down, Ending Budget Crisis": http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/17/us/congress-budget-debate.html?_r=0.With the Treasury Department warning that it could run out of money to pay national obligations within a day, the Senate voted overwhelmingly Wednesday evening, 81 to 18, to approve a proposal hammered out by the chamber’s Republican and Democratic leaders after the House on Tuesday was unable to move forward with any resolution. The House followed suit a few hours later, voting 285 to 144 to approve the Senate plan, which would fund the government through Jan. 15 and raise the debt limit through Feb. 7....For Mr. Boehner, who had tried but failed to unite his conference around a workable plan, Wednesday’s decision to take up the Senate bill proved surprisingly free of conflict. Hard-line Republican lawmakers largely rallied around the speaker, instead blaming their more moderate colleagues who they said had not had the backbone to stand strong in the fight against the health care law.If this wasn't passed, the US would've been slumped into a unknown-months recession (no words on how long it would be though).Still, what is going on in the House of Representative? Why couldn't the Democratic and Republican leaders move on with ANY resolutions? This is open for debate (on ANY topic relating budget crisis), and make it as complex as you can. .EDIT: Just heard from radio a while ago, Yosemite National Park is opened. That was fast.EDIT 2: And wow, on the day KSP 0.22 is released... Edited October 17, 2013 by Designer225
