That Fancy Capsule Symbol

Hi all,

I'm wondering what the new staging symbol, the one that looks like a capsule, means. As far as I can tell it does absolutely nothing at all.

It used to be in the game in versions 0.17 and below, when the staging lists accounted for every part of the vehicle and not just the actionable parts. 0.18 cleared up shop. Right now, I'm not sure why it's back in, but maybe it's because of the capacity to store scientific data inside any capsule? I guess Squad only knows, at this point.
