Surface Samples

Well... I am questioning my understanding about Pods and Surface Samples here.

Looks like that you can have only 1 Surface Sample onboard each capsule.

For example:

- The Mk1 (1Crew Pod) can only take 1 Crew Report and 1 Surface Sample.

- The Mk1-2 (3Crew Pod) can also only take 1 Crew Report and 1 Surface Sample.

Isn't the bigger Pod supposed to have a little bit more Space in it?

I think it is a little big odd.

Maybe there is a Modder out there who can make a shopping cart for the surface samples

I think they did that on purpose. I'm guessing to reduce Min-Maxing. But you are right, it is not logical.

You can have multiple samples in one pod, if they are from different biomes.

Rationalization: Only after a thorough examination of a sample in a well equipped lab do you know what to look for on the next expedition to find a sample that might reveal something new.
