Electricity from engines?

Hi

I always thought when the engines are burning the electricity will increase. I have a craft on its way to the mun and so i decided to do some reports mid-flight and then send them when my engines are running as crew reports are 100%. So i transmitted it when i was burning but the electricity did not recharge. So then i had no movement control and crashed Is this a bug or me being silly?

Not all engines will provide eletricity.

It's actually in the description of the engines. Engines that produce energy have "ElectricCharge" being mentioned in their technical stats when hovering over the part in the VAB/SHP.
