SRBs make for great Screenshots

I find launches with SRBs beautiful. Something about the chaotic trail behind the craft that slowly shifts into a smoky mist trial. It just looks awesome.

Problem is, there are limitations to its beauty; adding MOAR BOOSTERS seems to make the trail too complex, chaotic and simply messy. If they aren't close enough, the two separate trails look off. Too close and they again, just seem off. Time to find the perfect SRB combination for maximum prettyness.

Having a research division devoted solely to making SRBs pretty sounds like a very Kerbal thing to do.

I'm going to have to resist the urge to spam this thread with pictures. I've been building a lot of SRB powered launchers specifically because I think they look awesome. I'll just add a few from my latest Eeloo mission.

Don't worry, spam all you want. They look bootiful.

Have you heard about that SRB sound mod? if you install it on your SRBs, launches will also sound beautiful.

If you guys are into Srb's, you should definitely check out the stretchable Srb mod.

9 Mn thrust and 300s burntime? Hell yeah. ( Mass only 1000t )
