So, just to confirm, there's no set of simple internal spaces to go along with this part? I love how it looks and it certainly fulfills it's niche better than the two kerbal stock pod. But having to add all the internals and RPM pushes my game right to the limits of my RAM usage, so if there was was a simple IVA view that was unique to the part, I'd certainly use it :)

Hello. Sorry for my bad english and stupid question, but I can not find a function like rendezvous planner. I'm trying to go into orbit Muna using only functional IVA, but I did not succeed to find a treasured button. Thanks in advance for your reply.

there are no simplified version of Alcor internal. but if you do not install the "IVA Patch" and "ASET props", you will get standart vanila "PodCockpit" internal

I noticed as much, but thanks. Not to knock your internals, they're the best out there. Just too much for my machine to handle at the moment.

Whenever I access vessel viewer and certain other screens I just get a blank white screen with some of the options of that function. I tried to search the thread and can't seem to find a solution to it.

*edit*

It's pretty much every screen except the camera views and the standby screens. I can see the text on the screen but no images, just white screens.

Checked today Mihara's release of RasterProp Monitor (0.17). Seems it breaks ALCOR IVA. Waiting for props fix :))) Sorry for being too lazy & fixing it myself :)

alexustas was the first one I told about the breaking changes, so it's only about when he packages a release.

I did tell everyone not to hurry to install 0.17. :)

I just noticed the capsule in the pictures demonstrating docking with the ALCOR...what mod does that capsule belong to? I would to play with it.

Do you mean the pics on the first page? Because there are a LOT of pictures posted on this thread!

But if that is what you're referring to, it's the new(ish) Freyja capsule from NovaPunch. :)

It's a pity that I can't quite get this to the Mun and back, but she's pretty none the less!

Apollo pattern used a separate transfer stage that pushed both the CSM and LM on the initial transfer burn before they busted out of the fairing and redocked. You can always try that. :)

That would be the third stage that your referring to, they actually crashed several of the spent third stages into the moon for seismic experiments...

Well, yes.

...mind you, with FAR, I usually end up with one stage extra anyway. :(

0.9 update

External:

Collider has been corrected so it no longer falls through planetary surfaces.

New in ALCOR IVA:

- All props updated to work with RPM 0.17.

- All external lighting (NavLights, Docking port spotlight, Airlock lights) will now consume Electric Charge.

- Emergency power generator (EPG) added. It consumes 0.1 units of Monopropellant to produce 1.5 units of ElectricCharge.

- Small improvements to the interior and certain props.

- New notifications for GPWS added, but the problem with volume levels remains.

MFD:

- FLIGHT/LNDG page can now select between onboard ALCOR cameras and exterior camera number 1 (ExtCam1)

- 'Standby' page now displays the current version of RPM.

Third party mod support:

Active Texture Management (thanks Green Skull), Connected Living Spaces (thanks Sumghai) and Timmers’ KeepFit are now natively supported.

There's no download link for the external camera, btw. Looking forward to RPM 0.17 in this beast! :D

Oops, fixed. Thank you.

----------------------------------------

this is the last WIP-release, I hope.

If the tests does not reveals any more serious bugs and errors in a day or two, i will count the work with the ALCOR finished and will publish the final release of ALCOR in "Add-on Releases and Project Showcase"

But... how much RAM does it take?

If one is to believe Task Manager, having 'ALCOR Capsule' + 'ALCOR IVA Patch' + 'ASET Props' pack in your 'GameData' increases the amount of memory consumed by ksp.exe by about 110 Mb.

This is amazing. First you need to release Konquest and then you need to work on and release the Command Capsule as soon as possible because I am sick and tired of sending my kerbals back in to ugly capsules to renter the atmosphere after leaving such a beautiful capsule. I hope you can sense my sarcasam so just in case I want you to know I am kidding. It is a shame leaving the ALCOR to return to Kerbin. But even if you don't ever finish the Command Capsule we will still be left with this amazing Capsule. Once again sir well done.

I just recently discovered this mod and like the previous poster, I just cry when after an amazing mission with the ALCOR lander, my kerbals need to return home in a much lesser capsule.

The IVA is truly amazing and SQUAD should be ashamed of their own IVA models :)

Hello, i installed this mod last week, and it's amazing how it changes the player's perspective, i installed everything you suggested and it made the experience better by several magnitudes. I can't believe i played vanilla KSP for such a long time.

Thank you for making a sweet little game into a beautiful experience.
