Released update v5.1.0

Version 5.1.0

- Re-Texture of Eagle-X1 Liquid Engine, Launch Escape and Orbital Maneuvering System (LE-OMS), Raven-V1 Liquid Engine, Condor-L2 Landing System, and Corella-P3 Liquid Engine (Improved blending between colors on all parts)
- Increased Dry Mass from 0.45 to 0.5 on Launch Escape and Orbital Maneuvering System (LE-OMS)
- Increased LiquidFuel and Oxidizer from 135/165 to 180/220 on Launch Escape and Orbital Maneuvering System (LE-OMS)
- Fixed position of Engine FX on Corella-P3 Liquid Engine, it should appear closer to the Engine now
- Reduced Max Temp from 3800 to 3600 on Eagle-X1 Liquid Engine

So the main focus of this update was textures, I've re-done all the textures so that color transitions are less solid and blend better, previously there were a couple issues with jagged edges being visible between two colors on a texture. Other than that I did a little bit of balancing to the Launch Escape and Orbital Maneuvering System (LE-OMS) and also fixed a bug involving the Corella-P3 Engine FX that was caused by a typo in the last update.

Another major thing that happened this update is I'm now making available two separate downloads for the mod pack, one containing High Resolution textures, and the other containing Low Resolution textures.

So thus far I have converted the Eagle-X1 and LE-OMS and your quite right about the resolution in-game, you do need to be zoomed in quite a bit in order to actually notice the blurriness.

As for the Raven-V1 and LE-OMS... Here's the thing, I can't.

Not because it's not possible or anything, but because it would make the parts OP. The stats on all of my parts are very carefully thought out to try and balance them with the stock parts, for example the Raven-V1 is intended to be the intermediary of the Rockomax 24-77 and Rockomax Mark 55 Radial Mount Liquid Engine, which if you look at the stats, the Rockomax 24-77 has 250/300 ISP, and the Mark 55 Radial Mount Liquid Engine has 290/320 ISP, meaning that the Raven-V1 currently falls directly in the middle at 270/310 ISP. Now I do realize that with that line of thinking the Raven-V1 technically should have 70 thrust, but because it was originally designed to be used on the LE-OMS that much thrust would drain the fuel far too quickly.

As for the LE-OMS I'll take a look into it and see what I can do, although I suspect that if I increase the LiquidFuel and Oxidizer there may be balance issues concerning the size of the model in comparison to how many resources it can hold. Also keep in mind that the LE-OMS was not intended to be a lander originally, it was actually designed to just get you away from the main stack during an emergency. The extra LiquidFuel and Oxidizer was intended for orbital maneuvering in the scenario that the module wasn't used for launch escape, in all honesty the Raven-V1 in general was a complete afterthought.

Oh, I see. What I tried using it for was a service propulsion system for , and 600 m/s is a bit low for such a thing. But if its intended use was just a LES, well, I can also edit the files for my own install :)

Yeah I can see how it may not be obvious about it being an LES, since it's under the pod. In the most recent update (5.1.0), I also increased the LiquidFuel and Oxidizer in the LE-OMS from 135/165 to 180/220, which should help increase the DeltaV by a noticeable amount. It still seems balanced to me based on the size of the model.

I'VE GOT IT! You could increase the ISP of the Raven by also increasing the weight. If you set the ISP to 390 (the same as the Poodle), the weight to 0.5 and let the thrust stay where it is, then, assuming that people always use four of them, you'd get 390 ISP, 2 tons and 120 kN. The poodle has 390 ISP, 2.25 weight and 220 thrust. This means that while, the engine is inferior to the poodle, which it is kinda equivalent to, it is able to be radially attached, thus balancing it pretty much out. The high mass would make the Raven unsuitable for smaller probes, while the low(er) ISP would make it inferior to nuclear-powered tugs. Its low thrust would make it mostly useless as a lander engine. Thus, the Raven would become a niche engine for Orbital Maneuvring Systems and Service Modules.

Released update v6.0.0

Version 6.0.0

- Initial Release of Ullage Engine
- Initial Release of Ullage Tank
- Initial Release of Ullage Nosecone
- Added Resource UllageFuel

So recently I've been in talks with HoneyFox who is the creator of Engine Ignitor, I am quite a fan of the mod and seen that he needed some parts made to go along with it, so I offered my assistance in making them. The result are these 3 new parts, the Ullage Engine, Ullage Tank, and Ullage Nosecone, intended to help give you a bit of a boost when you've been floating idle in space for too long and your engine won't start. These new parts contain a new resource called UllageFuel, which is included in the download. (Keep in mind that even if you don't use Engine Ignitor, you can still use the parts without any issues.)

I have also decided to give people the option to download each part individually as well, you'll find the individual part downloads in the first post.
