How Engine Nozzle 'Heating' and Engine Fairings work?

So recently I've started making parts for KSP (See: [0.22] Rocket Power Industries v1.2.0 (Eagle-X1 Liquid Engine)), however I've been running into issues with Engine Nozzle 'Heating' animation and Engine Fairings.

Primarily my question is simply how to do this? Since I've looked around and can't seem to find anything detailing how this works.

EDIT: Emissive Tutorial, so I'm assuming this will help me with the Engine Nozzle 'Heating' I was talking about... How I missed that sticky thread I'll never know.

EDIT: So that Emissive Tutorial helped me a great deal with the Engine Nozzle 'Heating' effect, and after a bit more looking around I think I have a general idea about how to make Engine Fairings. Will give it a try tomorrow.

EDIT: I've now also figured out Engine Fairings, looks like I didn't need any help at all, just a bit of time.

I'm going to try tackling engine fairings myself and I'm looking for info as well. I think I understand the gist of it, but I'm curious, do these usually have a collision object?

Does this mean you may want to make an engine after the capsule or is this for autoshrouds under the capsule? I guess rather the last one right?
