[Career] Most Science points in One Flight

This is a simple challenge. What is the most science points you can get in one launch?

Simply launch a flight, perform important research to save the world, end flight and recover the ship and screenshot the total science points the flight is worth!

Of course, the further you are in the techtree, the more points you'll get per launch, but that's okay.

Define "one flight". Can you undock and land on bodies? Can you perform orbital construction and then go to all the planets?

I started off with exactly 0 science, the extras come from transmissions.

This brings up a question. How much science... It's there? How much on each world? Could you get through the entire tech tree without leaving Kerbin SOI? what about never even going to space? How far could you get with a seaplane on Kerbin?

It's definitely possible to get a good portion of the tech tree just on Kerbin, without ever going to space. Getting into LKO could probably get you half the tech tree if you milk the crap out of it. Now, based off extrapolation of my own progress You can get almost, if not the entire tree within Kerbin SoI. I'm almost to nuclear engines and have only touched two biomes on both moons. I have not gone interplanetary manned yet for two reasons. A) I have no nuclears yet, and because I don't have the science instruments to make non-return probe missions remotely profitable (using AntennaRange mod, so anything outside Kerbin SoI needs a communotron 88-88).

If you do all Mun and Minus and Kerbin bioms you can pretty much unlock everything and get more than I did up there from Jool.

To an extent, yes they are. I'm in the process of a four biome hop mission on the Mun. When it's complete, it will give me nukes and hopefully, Sr. docking ports and a communotron 88-88. Given that, I'll be off on my way to Duna to (hopefully) finish out the tech tree.
