slight lauch clamps problems

Is anyone else noticing in .22 that the launch clamps aren't holding your ship tightly? I'm finding that once my ship loads in, one or more of the clamps will have shifted slightly and my rocket will be tilting to one side or the other.

Obviously, I've put them on with symmetry tool, so they are supposed to all be level and attached at the same height level.

none of mine ever seem to hold tight enough for my 2k ton KW monsters.

It is annoying because the only other soultion is putting them under the first stage to hold the rocket up from the bottom.

You mean attaching them pointing straight up to hold on at the bottom of the engines? Hah! That's not a bad idea, or at the very least, in line with the Kerbal way of thinking. ;)

some times when I launch one of my clamps doesn't unclamp and simply tears half a booster of my rocket, resulting in my ship being a SSTO (single stage to ocean). so yeah, they may be glitched.

You may check the F3 log before you start in such cases, perhaps the booster teared off due to gravity shake rather than due to the clamp. As it would become detached, your staging wouldn't affect that clamp then.
