Most Realistic Commercial Airliner

Recommended Posts

Hold on to your marbles

I present to you the most aesthetically realistic airliner the Kerbal world has ever seen. Or a real close second.

It has all the essential external features you would find on real-world aircraft.

All the needed lights (strobe, nav, etc.), gear, with steerable nose gear and taxiing, thanks to the new B9 gear. :D

Airbrakes, leading edges, and fuel pods. The fuel pods are glitchy so I had to remove some of them.

I say aesthetically realistic, because this craft can take off at 30 m/s in only 1/15 of the runway length. It can even VTOL if you can reverse thrust and brake correctly.

Don't really need the extra 2 engines, but what the heck; this is KSP.

And during landing, it has the capability of maintaining a proper glide slope for the perfect landing everytime. And I mean everytime.

Mods: B9, TV Aerospace, & Aviation Lights

And my favorite part, the shadow looks like a 737. :D

Nice job! i like the futuristic look.

But I just had to post this because I needed to challenge the 'most realistic' part of the title.

Mine's operationally realistic! It can land in water -somewhat- safely!

Avg m/s is 100, takes off at 3/4 runway if you don't want it to rip to shreds. Basically a 737-300. The parachutes are there because I value the Kerbals' lives. The docking port is there so I could dock a rover to it to move it around. Only mod for it is KW Rocketry, just for the struts and nosecone. I think I could build it stock.

Sorry if I somehow hijacked the thread.
