Oh, it's math alright. Merely because she doesn't do complicated equations to work everything out doesn't mean she hasn't got a very good idea of what's going on in her head. She's got a pretty good grasp of the concepts required... and that's neat, because it's a much more adaptable approach than raw math.

... feeling like I am playing it wrong :D

BUT! Because I am not playing KSP for the math but because of the explosions I am fine with that :)

Anyways, her Stream is really really helpfull and it is good to see how other people are playing.

Gives you some fresh ideas :)

Keep it going Tanuki.

Isnt it amazing how you learn every day a little bit more about Orbital Mechanics?

A Year ago i thought... yeah when you want to go to the moon .. it is right there so go straight way up.

Today I am learning how to circularize (a word I havent known before playing ksp) your orbit around a gasgiant by doing a reverse gravity assist on its heaviest moon (which I havent thought of before).

Circularize? I haven't known this word before now. I sounds like it could be related to orbits, though!

It sure is fun but I doubt the skills we are learning will make us qualified to work for NASA anytime soon! I doubt aerobraking into a gas giant has any real-life potential. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I still think it is food for our brains though.

Circularizing means that you adjust your apoapsis/periapsis to be almost the same, and thus, make your orbit more circular.
