Phillong Kerman. One of the first to land on the Mun, one of the pioneers of Duna, and he mostly flies my planes.

That is mostly influenced by his reputation and the way he is depicted in about every fanfic.

I never use my orange suits for test flights, and I usually let them do the 'first steps' on whatever floating rock has my interest.

Some of my missions have been more complex than they needed to be simply because Jeb was the one I wanted to be first on to each planet/moon.

Aside from the supreme orange trinity my other main man is Hans, a skilled and daring pilot (famed for his speed on a certain route). I've been lucky enough that he's returned at the start of several new saves.
