  1. I'm getting my CPU hogged by Snacks! too. My game has 4 space stations, 1 surface base and a couple of manned ships. To make sure it was the Snacks, I first renamed the .dll and launch the game again. I got about the double of the FPS. As a final test I changed SimulatorSettings.cfg. I reduced maxThreads to 3 (1 less them my CPU cores) and reducex maxSimulatorCycles to 500. Can't measure for sure but the game seens faster.
  2. Thanks. I thought the exactly opposite, bigger numbers, brake quicker. Now it makes sense!
  3. What the ABS Rate slider do?
  4. Tested in Sandbox? In career you may need to "buy" the tech first.
  5. You can find them west from the KSC. Just fly about 200m above terrain and keep the eyes open
  6. Baobab tree in Kerbin https://imgur.com/a/e5IEJHK
  7. To be honest, I bought the KSP late in 2013 (yes, no free DLC's to me) on the KSP Store Then I bought Making History last year also on the KSP Store. This year, thanks to exchange rates and a Steam deal, I bought again KSP, Making History and Breaking Ground, this time on Steam. So yes, I bought KSP Twice. Yes, I like this game a lot!
  8. Depends on craft. Heavy and fast shuttles are easier to land as they then do flare better with the lift boost of the ground effect. On the other hand, light propeller planes needs to bleed more speed, and it may make the landing a bit difficult if coming high and hot.
  9. Tested in 1.6, working fine and makes landings more interesting, but did not change things in a a way that disrupt my auto pilot. 10/10 will keep installed
  10. Checking this out now! BTW, why not compiled to the last KSP version?
  11. Not the cryogenic ones but I have a lot from near future and kerbal aircraft expansion installed.
  12. I think so because it doesn't touch the IVAs
  13. Nice. I just can't tell you how to replicate because my install have several mods and I didn't have a 100% sure way to make it stutter. The only common thing I could find with the stuttering in my KSP install is that it happens when the craft has the adjustable landing gears. During weekend I'll have time to do a clean install and try adding one mod at time. BTW I notice there is an update of KSP Wheel, I'll try installing it too. Did a quick and dirt test: Fresh Install of KSP, Plus Foundries 2.2.6. Open the stock Ravenspear Mk4, changed the landing gears for the ALG and took off. Almost can't notice the stutter, but it's there. I guess that because my main install have more mods, there are more things to process so it became more noticiable.
  14. Well, I'm glad that you're aware of this, but right now I can't provide a way to replicate it precisely. Later I will try a fresh install so I can isolate better the issue.
  15. I'm noticing that when a plane have the ALG, KSP stutters every couple of seconds. Do you are aware of this?
  16. Nice, I learned that one trick is put the seat and engage the brakes, thanks.
