I remember watching this as a kid, during its original run. Loved it then, and still do.

EDIT: And for fans of the music, which was used in a couple of other Filmation cartoons of the era - but it\'ll always be TAS for me - while there\'s never been an official release,

has most of the familiar tunes.

Remember when networks would amp kids up for the new Saturday cartoon lineups? Would start like two months before the end of the school year and you would already have your list of must see shows and what channels you needed to switch to. We didn\'t have any fancy recording or time-shifting, so you had to choose carefully or hope to catch something in re-runs.

I remember the previews for ST:TAS and how amped I was to watch it. Caught every episode!

For those with Netflix Instant Accounts, Star Trek Animated is there to peruse to your enjoyment. In fact every one of the series are there now, from TOS(Enhanced Effects) to Enterprise.

If you\'re in the US. Here in Canada we don\'t get anything on netflix.
