I've created a short tutorial on how to successful land on the Mun. The video only covers the landing procedure and is thus beginning from an already established orbit around the Mun.

Nicely done! That's the same way I approach my Mun landings (and most other bodies), and for the same reasons. I especially like how you explain your reasoning for the lower periapsis altitude in the latter part of the video.

The combination between a basic and easy guide on how to achieve a landing on a celestial body in the game and the transfer of knowledge was one of my important goals. Even if I just presented a very basic explanation, my idea was to encourage other KSP players to think a little bit about the mechanics and possible real world connections.
