Hello everyone!

I\'ve been very happily launching for a few days now; v.13 is the first I\'ve played and I\'ve been enjoying KSP immensely!

I\'m from a Minecraft background (along with many other games), but I see a lot of the promise in this game that Minecraft gave me when I started playing that, so I\'m enthused to see Kerbal grow along with its community.

So not sure if anyone will read this, but can\'t hurt to introduce myself a little. I\'m 27 years old and live in Australia. I\'m a programmer looking to get into my own indie game development in 2012. I love playing a variety of games and get especially excited about games that encourage and develop creativity and problem solving skills and which support persistent worlds (but don\'t mind thrashing about in an FPS or RTS too). Hopefully I\'ll get to know some people around the forums here and experience the ongoing development and improvement of this awesome game too.

That\'s really cool, I\'d not thought to build one in one of my worlds yet, hehe.

Here is one of my early rockets, not my first. It has a very slow take-off but I get it up into orbit easily enough.

This is the circular orbit I got the rocket into.

So far I\'ve also crash landed on the Mun (my Kerbals did however survive... despite being stranded) and done a couple Mun orbits returning to Kearth safely (not with this rocket though). I have spent some time on the wiki reading what I can about orbits and such.

I build a space centre with a space ship taking off in... 1.8.
