we have tiny engines, tiny fuel tanks, tiny probe sas, but no tiny wings!

please add little sized wings and winglets for aeroprobes and satellites fly in atmospehere to "Stock part list"

for example simple wing triangle, sized of 1/3 of length "small gear bay".

it will be very usefull!

I believe it has small wings, etc for tiny planes.

EDIT: I know you're requesting this as a stock part, and I'd love it to be stock as well, but I find my ksp experience very much improved by some good mods while squad works on improving things bit by bit.

in multiplayer there are no mods.

so im not really interesting in them if only me had it.

so it must be stock item. and i ask for stock.

That is a good idea. Now we could have atmospheric probes for recon missions on Duna or Eve, and have landers with tiny air-capable rovers attached.

You'll have to get the Firespitter mod for one of those. There's even a folding prop for packing into a tight rocket fairing.

I find it odd that stock KSP aviation jumps straight in with jet engines. Like many things in KSP, that doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of technical progression, though it might be explained by game mechanics.

Jet engines are fine if you want to make a SSTO or fly around kerbin. but I want to make a probe or one seat airoplane for duna.

I'm thinking of something can can charge it batterys for a day and then go fly for 30mins to and hour before having to land and recharge. Smaller probe size wings would be good for that.

I wonder if such a small craft could actually even be stable. It'd be pretty cool to have mini drones like that, though, but I haven't a clue if they'd even be stable enough to fly. Interesting idea.

dimmy, the Already Suggested List is (as far as I am aware) only for suggestions that have been repeatedly brought up and/or threads that have a really long, useful and interesting discussion about the suggestion in them. Else, that list would just be filled with a million links, and nobody would be able to sort out the well-thought-out suggestions from the more generall, off-hand "hey how about this, this is cool" sort of suggestions

Pretty stable, if built properly.

Main problem is - there is no small and light engine.
