Mod Tabs for Tech Tree

I have an idea for how every mod can have its own tech tree without them interfering with each other. Instead of having all the addons being jumbled together on one tech tree, we could just have each addon have it's own tab! The tabs would be at the top-left of the R&D screen. When you open a tab, an entirely new tech tree appears that is just for its designated addon. And each tech tree wouldn't be available for research until a certain node on the "Main" tech tree is researched. If you've ever played modded Minecraft, you could probably see that this is similar to each Minecraft mod having its own tab on the Creative Mode screen. I hope Squad seriously considers this idea, and please give feedback on how you think this could work.

Some addons add lots of parts that don't neccecarily have a place in the tech tree. I know TreeEdit is an option for this, but the tech tree is bound to look very messy if too many of these addons are installed. I think it's a feature that would be good for future addons.

If adding this to the game isn't an option, it should at least be a feature in TreeEdit.

I can think of a few addons that have an entire tech tree worth of parts:

KW Rocketry

B9 Areospace

NovaPunch

Impossible Innovations

The mod one wouldn't have to be a full tree. Just a couple nodes, to keep the original tree from getting too crowded.

EDIT: Minecraft does a similar thing for tracking achievements and it works fairly well.
