Rolling spacecraft

Well...

Ive watched this video

And im just curious if a rolling spacecraft/rover manned or unmanned is practical. And if so, how could i improve upon danny`s design to make one that doesnt explode?:P

And on a completely unrelated note...

Sometimes when I launch some of my smaller aircraft designes off the runway, after a certan amount of time, they flip out and explode. Is there a crack in the runway? And how do I fix this?

The big problem with such things, other than they're slow as molasses, is that it's pretty much impossible to steer them. However, you can keep them from exploding by making the wheel rims out of girders and trusses, so nothing explosive every touches the ground.

This is usually due to improper wheel placement on a delta wing thing. If you have it so it sits level on the ground, the back end will usually lift off 1st and it will usually have a bit of deflection the roll axis. So now you're running along on your nosewheel alone, and at an angle, so it veers, which makes one wing dig in, and boom. Best way to fix this is to adjust the wheels so the nose is angled up a little while sitting on the ground.
