Bill and Bob would sing backup on "You've Lost the Loving Feeling" while Jeb hits on Kelly McGillis. Later, we find out Kelly works in the R&D center back at KSC. Finally, we watch Jeb poignantly throw Bill and Bob's dog tags into the ocean after they are obliterated in a tragic crash on Minmus.

We need female Kerbals. That's all that's really missing to redo the entire movie in KSP.

Jeb: The wild and crazy one, does woowoo shots by the dozen. For them as don't know, woowoo glows green, comes by the dozen in laboratory test tubes stuck in holes drilled in a block of wood, and apparently is made of tequila, moonshine, absinthe, Spanish fly, boxing gloves, songbooks, horse testosterone, and rocket fuel.

Bill: The calm, steady one, slowly sips topshelf single-malt scotch or small-batch bourbon.

Bob: The fidgety, panicky one, quite obviously can't handle strong drink or even beer. When he's feeling frisky, which at most is about once a month, he has a single wine cooler. He's afraid of everything else. One time he had a Zima and it made him pass out, and he had a horrible headache the next day.

I'm pretty sure they'd be drinking Jeb's coffee. And about the only thing they'd be able to say is "ARHGGHGHGHGHGGHAAAAAAGHRGHAAAH!" from ingesting rocket fuel.

I would imagine they would get along like the astronauts of Apollo 12, as a group of the "original 3" who trained and worked together for a long time. Watch that episode of "From the Earth to the Moon" for what I'm talking about.
