Jarin
So I'm noticing a lot lately that I'm not getting nearly as much actual science on vehicle recovery as I'm told I will get. This is especially obvious with the atmospheric nosecone package. First-time use in any area reports that it's going to return 120 data, but ends up returning base 12, with a 0.3 multiplier, for a measly 3.6 science. Note, that this is *first time* use. The Negative Gravioli Detector is likewise returning far less than it should. Anyone else seeing this?
SkyRender
Yep. That's a known bug: the readout for how much science you get from the Gravity Scan, Seismic Scan, and Atmospheric Analysis is off for all three. The game erroneously calculates data * planetary multiplier instead of science * planetary multiplier for the readout, but correctly uses the latter for actual science gained. You don't notice it for any but those three experiments because all experiments outside of those three have a data scale of 1.
DonLorenzo
I was noticing this as well, this explains it! I wasn't too sure because my latest transmissions happened in a fairly stressful position
Johnno
First off this thread is in the wrong section, you're either asking a gameplay question or reporting a bug/asking for support, not making a general discussion thread. Please be more careful with where you place a new thread. And as already said, this is a known bug, it's been repeatedly reported and asked about. Please read HarvesteR's post here.If you wish to continue the discussion please do so in that thread.Thread locked.
