Are KSP rockets subject to the oberth effect?

Recommended Posts

Thanks- don't know why I didn't try that. Found a few results- not many were absolutely conclusive, but the general consensus is that it is simulated in KSP.

The Oberth Effect isn't something that needs to be simulated. It's a consequence of conservation of momentum, conservation of energy, and gravity. As long as those are part of the simulation, Oberth will be as well.
