quickshot89
Assuming you have the latest mechjeb try deleting the toolbar-settings.dat file in Game Data then all the mechjeb sttings files in this folder:\GameData\MechJeb2\Plugins\PluginData\MechJeb2Hi GS, I tried that but still nothing. When on the launchpad mechjeb is just showing as red and turned off. Any other ideas?

Einarr
How would I do that? Please note that these issues are with Green Skull's ATM configs. Configs from the official ATM download work fine, though the IVAs tend to be a bit more blurry than I want, thus I want to use Green Skull's configs. Einarr
@Fiz: You're probably referring to RasterPropMonitor or RPM for short.Testing has shown that simply using the JSI.cfg provided with ATM itself is not sufficient to fix the issue. Green Skull
So you say that the replacing the config from the original ATM download fixes your IVA screens. I changed the ASET config to be like the old one in the download thinking this was a problem and that I needed to fix it.ALL RPM IVA's work correctly for me...Do you have the latest RPM version installed? I do and mine work fine...
somnambulist
Added the option for normal or high memory saving. Use normal for the latest configs on basic or aggressive. Use high settings for ultimate memory saving. On my phone so I can't check, but you can gain some extreme memory savings if you're willing to sacrifice IVA quality. In my own install, IVA quality is dropped to a max size of 64px. Sure it looks terrible on IVA mode, but I rarely play that way anyway.
Einarr
I've got RPM 0.16, which IIRC is the latest. The configs from the ATM download do not include one for ASET. Additionally, I doubt a config for ASET would give me the issues with the stock Mk 1-2 Pod as I showed. When I get some time, I'll add your configs one at a time until I get the issue in the stock Mk 1-2 pod again (I'm thinking it may be the squad config).Additionally, here's some more from that log I mentioned, should cover from the moment I launched an ALCOR pod with only 2 stock RTGs for power as a test. Fizwalker
Einarr, I have to thank you! I am now drooling over this lovely mod! Thank you very much for pointing me in its glorious direction!
Green Skull
I do not use RPM mechjeb or scan sat on my personal install because it throws up errors and exceptions... This is where the problem is. I'm going to release a main config that won't touch any part of RPM. It's easier than listing all the RPM folders in all the configs as this is proving the two mods aren't compatible. The same goes for TextureReplacer. I've tried all kinds of variations on the config for that and I thought Proot had cracked it but when I finally got around to performing an EVA to take some suit screenshots I found that no matter what you do the results are the same.I'll figure this out with RPM mechjeb and scansat modules then I'll update my configs. If anyone has a problem with funky looking suits in the meantime delete the TextureReplacer config from the ATM configs folder. The pod is the new HGR Soy-Juice module and it's turning into a favourite of mine As for the IVA views this is a good point and I will look into changing that for the high settings. somnambulist
As for the IVA views this is a good point and I will look into changing that for the high settings.Take a look at props, too. The throttle handle in particular is 4 MB on disk. Most of the props could be scaled globally with exceptions added for gauges and labels.
ghimb2000
Sorry it's early here and I completely miss-read your post. Ignore what I originally posted! Was this the first time it ran with the new configs or iis it every time since the new configs?I've included settings in the latest download for high memory saving so try these. Also try removing the configs for the mods that you do not have. e.g. delete the CMES config if you don't use CMES. Let me know if this works please. I personally get no stutters and lag but my PC is self built and less than 5 months old...With V9, I'm getting good framerates with my landed shuttles, but loading a 150 part shuttle from my VAB crashes my PC (yes it just hung after playing the music for 10mins and I have to reset it). Didn't have much time to do more testing. Will do more of it today. Though, 200part shuttles worked fine with stock ATM aggressive.
vanlock
Hi GreenSkulls, can you make a BoulderCo config that includes the citylights textures ? Although config doesn't seem that complicated so maybe I can do it myself :new version of BoulderCo.cfg :ACTIVE_TEXTURE_MANAGER_CONFIG{ folder = BoulderCo enabled = true OVERRIDES { BoulderCo/Clouds/.* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 make_not_readable = false } BoulderCo/CityLights/.* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 make_not_readable = false } }}is that correct ? Edit : Also I would like BeastlyScience to be included.Is this code correct ?ACTIVE_TEXTURE_MANAGER_CONFIG{ folder = BeastlyScience enabled = true OVERRIDES { BeastlyScience/.* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 make_not_readable = false } }}folder layout : Edited April 24, 2014 by vanlock
Green Skull
Vanlock rbray wrote the config for Boulder Co so I'm inclined to leave it alone but in theory that one looks correct. I will write one for beastly science that will be in the next update as you need to include the normal map list.I'm still thinking / experimenting on the RPM situation. Also from having longer to look at the logs posted the interstellar config needs work.*Update* Seeing as I cannot sleep I've re written the config for Interstellar so the uranium exception is gone and should prevent other similar textures causing exceptions. I've added a normal list to deadly re-entry and am working through the rest of the textures on the log list posted plus the beastly science config. All my IVA's correctly display all RPM screens and I've fixed the ASET issues - for me anyway. Edited April 25, 2014 by Green Skull
vanlock
Thanks for your reply, and sorry for your insomnia. For BoulderCo there is no texture cache, but for Beastly I do get a normal.pngcache and normal.tcache for both ScoopoMatic parts so it seems to be working. Green Skull
You won't get a cache for the boulder co parts as scaling is not set in the config, but you did compress it. You didn't add the Normal maps in your beastly science config but this isn't a major issue. I've made one that does and it will be in the next patch. Green Skull
Ok last configs update for a bit. Fixed ASET and KSO interior to be hi-res for reading of buttons. ALL RPM screens work for me. Removed TextureReplacer config as it was messing with my spacesuits and possibly causing problems else where with TextureReplacer textures. Changed High settings to crunch more RAM from IVA's - they will look worse! Fixed exception caused by ATM / Interstellar conflict. Minor tweaks from looking at my own and others logs. Added Beastly Science for Vanlock and another couple for parts I've recently downloaded.*PLEASE NOTE* These configs are written on my PC for windows. They should work on other systems but you may have to adjust some settings yourself to optimise for your own system or requirements.DOWNLOAD HERE Green Skull ATM configs v1.
