Solar Panels...mmmmmm yum!

Just a normal question really, not sure if it exists around here or not, I tried looking for it but I tend to not see things when they are there. Um, I been seeing ships with certain solar panels that I don't think are in game, and I have tried looking for them before but I can't seem to find them. I did find the Space Station Pack that has some solar panels to them but I keep forgetting to unpack it into the game...least I think I forgot...yup I did, the Kosmos 4.1 pack I forgot to throw into the game there, but since I haven't looked, not sure what it has otherwise, any other neat-o Solar Panels out there that I haven't found yet that others know about or love, that be great!

I think the AIES pack had some solar panels, not 100% sure as it had to go to make room for other mods.

Idon't usually use solar panels. RTGs, while they weigh more, are better in my opinion (unless you are using ions) in answer to your question though KSP interstellar has some cool looking ones.

Did you look into the thread? They're radiators, not solar panels. They dissipate energy, not gather it.

Even if they're not solar panels, those are pretty cool looking, at least this way I get to learn about other cool Mods/Plugins haha. But yeah, you see one of those images in KSP Interstellar, like the one showing the Dual Technique Magnetometer, and Phased Array Microwave Transmitter on those satellites, those are the Solar Panels I'm talking about and I'm not sure if they're Vanilla or add-ons/plugins.

The problem with the AIES panels, while neat looking is they don't track the sun like most other panels. I've sent the mod author some info on how to do this and he is fixing them for an update.

Also, AIES has some good, non-tracking panels (which are more like the ones mounted on actual satellites from what I can tell). The pack also includes a mini-RTG which is very useful.

As Dante said KOSMOS has some good panels..the big dual sided solar 'wing' looks great for spacestations.

I also really like the solar panels from the Soviet pack.

Its funny KSPI was mentioned. The radiators do look great...but they diffuse HEAT...not power. The mainly used to vent waste heat from the craft due to the nuclear reactors the pack comes with...if you use those you typically dont need solar panels.
