Arctic Aerospace - Sabre

I have long held an obsession with two things, large planes and the SR-71 Blackbird. Naturally, I wanted to combine both into one.

This concept manifested as the Sabre.

The Sabre is a triple turbojet aircraft capable of high altitude flight and insane speeds - 1,367 m/s (3057.89 mph) during a test flight towards Kerbin City. This tops the SR-71's record of 2,193.2 mph.

The current Sabre variant can't fly quite as high as the SR-71, but it makes up for that with incredible speed at its service ceiling. Current tests have reached a max altitude of 18,300 m.

The aircraft itself if completely stock, however a variant is included that has the Vanguard Technologies ejection system for pilot safety. This has not been tested with FAR.

Caution should be used upon landing, as the mass tends to shift backwards during flight (stays balanced in flight with use of SAS, however!) and likes to tip back if care is not taken during landing.
