Placing struts post-launch? Is there a mod that will allow this maybe?

So I'm working on a small station but lo and behold, once it's reached a certain size it's become unstable. I took it into consideration with my individual modules, but the docking ports just aren't enough to keep it from buckling under any real movement beyond RCS/SAS adjustments. And even then it can be janky.

Is there a mod that'll allow me to go up there and place struts to stabilize things? I know KAS allows you to place parts post-VAB, and I've gone so far as to edit in the EAS-4s to be 'placeable' under the mod, but when I place the first end, it doesn't follow up with allowing me to place the second end. I figured it wouldn't be as easy as that, sadly.

So any recommendations?

Perhaps I haven't played around with KAS enough then, hm. Would you know of any good video tutorials on that part of KAS specifically? There are plenty of guides for the mod as a whole, but it's a broad mod with lots of 'things'.

Its rather simple to use the KAS struts. There are 'Strut Ends' that can be surface attached in VAB/SHP, or grabed and placed via a Kerbal on EVA. One there are 2 strut ends you get close to one with your EVA kerbal, r-click the strut end, select 'link'. Head over to the other strut end, r-click, select link...and BAM, your all done.
