Physics warp in space

Why is it not possible to do 1x 2x 3x and 4x warp in space? I don't like waiting for my high efficiency low TWR ships to burn a node. Or waiting for anything, for that matter.

It could automatically switch from on-rails to physics warp once we increase thrust.

It could even be a button on the warp module that lets us switch in between.

You can press ALT and > to use phys-warp in space.

Yup, alt and > is how you activate physics warp.

In an atmosphere just > does it, but that's just a feature put in because you can't use rails timewarp in an atmosphere rather than being the correct keybinding.
