[1.2.0] Toolbar 1.7.13 - Common API for draggable/resizable buttons toolbar

Is there any way to not use this toolbar with The Alarm Clock & Crew Manifest, I use very few "buttons" and this system has completely over engineered it for me. I'm not unable to have my Alarm Clock and Crew Manifest visible without having them crunched together with this toolbar. TAC Fuel balancer seems to work independed fine. I could see this working if you had tons of the "Buttons" but this is extremely clunky and unappealing to me.

Issue resolved, my own error, seems my addons had changed the way they were placed in folders, leading to an incorrect installation. Toolbar works fantastic. My error.

That is not my decision to make.

I'm not sure what you mean by "clunky," perhaps you can elaborate on that. Did you know that you can change the appearance of the toolbar?

This is a fantastic mod and will do wonders for in game UI functionality. However I'm currently experiencing one major bug. I can reposition, resize and lock the toolbar with no problems. However, if I press M to go to the orbital map, and then press M again to return to the craft view, it has forgotten all settings that I had saved. I tested it multiple times, and it always returns to the bottom left corner and rearranges the buttons in a 2x4 grid. Previously, I had it in a 8x1 dimension in the upper right. Do you have any advice? I have double checked to make sure there are no duplicates of the toolbar files.

I'm having issues with the toolbar. In the space plane hanger, FAR, KER, and IR are all showing up in the toolbar but clicking on them does nothing. KER actually toggles its color to yellow, but no window ever appears. In flight some work, and some don't (mainly IR). Did a clean install and I have the newest update to the toolbar.

I've tried searching for a solution, but haven't came up with anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Now the arrow on the toolbar just makes a tiny black square appear instead of the menu. If it's a mod conflict, I haven't found it. Is there anyway to disable the bar from the individual mods?

I signed up (finally - been meaning to do it so I can post some mission images and spacecraft pictures for a while now, :-) ) just to say that I downloaded this update after staring at it for a few days finally not 5 minutes before you updated to 1.7.1, LOL! Now I guess I'll stare at the same icon I've been staring at for a while because I'm too lazy... :-)

Thanks for the toolbar though - honestly - It was getting rather cluttered on my smaller monitor, HAHA!

Toolbar Plugin 1.7.1 is now available for download.
Hi I just registered and I am a super huge KSP fan! I have been using the toolbar for a while and am used to updating it everytime it asks me too! Well I think the link for the new download to 1.7.1 is broken and I am unable to download it! Error is below!

Strange. I deleted the old folder, installed the new one, and launched. KSP complained that 'aaa_Toolbar' was incompatible may not work properly, but it worked anyway. The same thing happened with PreciseNode.

I would have guessed this would indicate that some mod has bundled and older version of Toolbar in their own GameData folder, but I doubt someone would have done that with PreciseNode.

This didn't happen with the previous version (which I downloaded before 0.23.5).

Perhaps this is because there were two updates yesterday, and this was built against the first update?

Mine says "v0.23.5.464", with the following in buildID.txt:

build id = 464
2014-04-01_17-03-49
Branch: master

I've downloaded that about two or three hours ago from the store. Both the Toolbar Plugin and PreciseNode have been built and tested against that build.

I don't know what to say. I don't think I have access to the store, since I got the game through Steam. I just restarted steam to try and get an update, but no luck.

I hope they haven't made a mistake and released two versions with the same build id. That might cause some trouble.

Anyway, both mods seem to still work so I'm still very happy!

The lower right corner should say 464 too.

That's only on the windows version. The Linux versions never get an exact build number. Squad exports the linux version under only "v0.23.5.0" regardless of the actual build. It was the same with .22 and .23. If a compatibility checker is looking for an exact number, the linux builds will always be different than the windows.

I'm getting the same error with the toolbar and precise node plugins. It's just an error message due to an error in the compatibility checker. The plugins work perfectly well.

Great, I didn't know that, and certainly didn't expect that. Thank you, Squad.

That is correct, as long as you're not using PreciseNode's "Open maneuver node gizmo" feature, which doesn't work using the older version.

I've reuploaded the latest version. Please redownload and reinstall it if there's a popup telling you the Toolbar Plugin version is incompatible with KSP 0.23.5.

The new toolbar version no longer says it's incompatible. Thanks!

(Now for PreciseNode...) :sticktongue:

Also Blizzy, as a matter of wording your signature seems to imply you created/wrote all of the mods listed. Is this the case? I thought that you were "just" the maintainer for some of them. If so, you may want to change the wording to clarify. If not, ignore me!

I wrote everything in there except for PreciseNode, which I'm now the maintainer of.
