I've always found that sharing crafts works rather clumsily no matter how you do it.

Thus, webVAB was born.

After uploading a craft, you can share the link with others, who can then preview the craft in-browser before downloading it.

For now, only a limited selection of parts are available (mostly rocket parts, spaceplanes aren't supported yet), and unsupported parts will simply not render in the preview, but will still be available for download.

The program is also capable of rendering ships using the game's textures.

However, I'm not sure about the copyright issues, and SQUAD hasn't replied to my inquiry yet.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to improve it! Please keep in mind that I'm a busy student and this is not my top priority. However, I will do my best to support it.

Oh, I like this. The rendering is a bit angular, but the idea is something that could be very useful around here. Not bad!

Use smoothed normals when rendering to avoid the angled effect.

I see a great potential for this app, very usefull to display, show and share your crafts.

I hope it will be improved (adding more parts).

The visuals are great even if it's only a minimalistic display.

I hope that you will also implement a browse craft option.

By the way, i've posted my (working) mini shuttle, it can't lift any payload, it's more like a gimmick than a usable craft:
