Geostationary orbit

Is this at all possible in KSP? If so, at what height should you attain what speed?

It's Keostationary Orbit (KSO), and I think it's 280km

[edit] corrected from the Wiki:

. The Kerbisynchronous equatorial orbit is the circular orbit with an altitude of 2 868.75 km and a speed of 1 009.02 m/s

Be warned, unless you have tons of patience you're not going to get it exactly right.

It's not so much perfecting the altitude as the period. If your orbital period is six hours and your orbit is REASONABLY circular then you will say pretty much in the same spot in the Kerbin sky.

This is how I did my satellite relay network for KSPI microwave-beamed power. I boosted up to a transfer orbit with an apoapsis of ~2869 km and circularized there. I then used RCS to tweak my orbital period to be almost exactly six hours using the orbital period readout from VOID.

Yup, pretty much how I did my communications satellites for my Remotech playthrough.
