Nutt, can you please just post your mod's progress report on the thread you already made for it instead of occupying mine?

Don't think I'm trying to steal your thunder. I just like having feedback from other plugin devs. So far the only thing posted in my thread is "this mod is boring because we already have planet mods".

Laythe: Pansper(mia's a hell of a thing)

Kerbin: Primar(y moon)

Tylo: Bades (BadS)

Duna: Xziba (I heard you like Moons, so I put a moon around your moon so you can orbit while you orbit.)

Ike: Ikson

Sun (Kerbol): Alternis

Minmus: Spar(ta)

Pol: Grani

Bop: Krakar

Mun (Moved to orbit Eve): Milly

Gilly (Orbits Primar/Kerbin): Goon

Examples of other things (to be further detailed on later)

Kerbals: Primans (insectoid creatures who are trying to conquer space!)

PDD-10 Hitchhiker Storage Container: 4-P Invasion Canister

LV-T30: High Power Small Engine

LV-909: Extreme Efficiency Small Engine

Rockomax "Mainsail": Rockoprime "Conquest" Large Engine

ROckomax "BACC" SRB: Rockoprime "Unorthadox" Solid Fueled Engine

I have an idea! Make this a whole expansion pack!

Priman Space Conquest

Using the Alternis Kerbol mod, this could be a whole new system instead of a re-hashed old one! The Primar Space Conquest is a program designed to conquer ALL OF SPACE! The parts would have more tactical and militaristic, but still hilarious names and functions. The parts would be darker, and have a more greeble-ish design.

Okay - for everyone asking for me to make them a separate solar system, I can't, not without totally rewriting several aspects of the game. Lighting, and solar panels, to name two examples. Adding them on to the existing system is also problematic due to technical reasons, plus it would mean they're sat WAY out in the distance beyond Jool, and so would take years to actually get to...

I do wish I could figure out a way to make it save-specific, however. That way, if you wanted to switch back to the vanilla system you could just switch saves.

Scaled texture for duna. Not coming out well. Combination of lack of a scaled mesh and textures getting compressed to hell by the loader.

Edit2: I do wish there was a way to replace the atmosphere shader. The default one is always too bright, and can't be scaled independently of the planet without breaking...

Nova: you could startup at mainmenu but only do the changing during the loading screen between there and spacecenter? By that time you should be able to detect the savegame title (it must be kept somewhere in HighLogic).

Also, have you messed with AtmosphereFromGround in .23? According to test reports the way RSS was changing it doesn't work in .23, and I've been busy enough with MFS I haven't dug yet to find out how it changed. You'd save me a good few hours digging, if you've found how it changed in .23 and let me know. :)
