I don't know what about you but I'm hoping for some extra stuff for Christmas like Eeloo was last year. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Paradox, which released special carol for Christmas for everyone to download, but having new destination would be great.

Or maybe I'm totally wrong and we will get for instance procedural craters on Duna or more biomes.

Or maybe we won't get anything.

Well, I hope that Santa is going to be generous this year :) It would be especially good idea (IMHO) after all this resources system earthquake.

Maybe Duna getting a second mun(Deimos analogue?). Although we don't need another Minmus.

But what we could enjoy is a Metis analogue. Basically another captured asteroid(which would be dark gray this time) that orbits Jool in a REALLY short distance(it would cover ~72% of the sky). It is tidally locked to Jool. It has a minuscule gravity and sphere of influence, so it will not often botch your Joolian aerobrake, but will still be a pain to get to(good luck not aerobraking at Jool while trying to reach it). If you thought Laythe was ridiculously close to Jool, this is for you.

Really hope to see a planetary body christmas gift. It doesn't have to be Gas Giant 2, but I would applaud a charon analogue for dres or eeloo. Or another moon for jool. Devs have stated that adding planetary bodies isn't particularly hard (and they have dozens of "test" planets), just that they don't wanna continue adding planets until more of the game is complete.

I'm a 'tad spoiled though. And just want something new to crash into. :D

Not going to happen, the devs are taking a winter holiday until January according to Max.

Doesn't mean they haven't had something ready to go for a while, and simply need to press a button or two on Christmas morning to release it to our weird Kerbal universe.

Still, I find another planet/moon a little unlikely.
