Challenge Template

Recommended Posts

The KSP forum is seeing a large increase in new visitors, what this means is that they are not well acquainted with the general requirements when making a challenge thread. So rather than waiting for them to learn, I thought it would be easier to have a template ready and stickied. Heres my suggestion, but I doubt it\'s perfect so suggestions are wanted. Before you argue \'proof of completion\' and \'allowed parts\' are parts of the rules, I included them separately to ensure they were included by the thread maker.

The golden rule of challenges is to complete the challenge yourself before posting the thread. It\'s a good idea to record it (in pictures) to help other better understand the challenge, but not necessary.
Challenge Description: (In-depth description of challenge)

Rules: (What can and can\'t be done?)

Proof of completion: (What do the entrants need to prove that they have completed the challenge? E.g screenshot)

Allowed parts: (What part packs are allowed for the challenge?)

Not so much a rule as more a sense of encouragement. Challenge threads where the OP has at least featured an attempt(not necessarily a success) has better chances of getting more participants.

We don\'t need players feeling like the challenge thread is going to be full of nothing but rules lawyers. That spoils the fun.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
